Kiteboarder Maurice Morillo is not your average “bro”. Hailing from Saginaw, Michigan, Moe spends much of his time on the waters of Tawas Point, nestled along the edge of Lake Huron. He believes in the healing power of nature through the feelings of love, euphoria and adrenaline that kiteboarding provides him. Moe doesn’t consider himself an environmentalist, but he intentionally tries to teach others the necessity of being conscious of their environment. He stresses that we are all connected to the earth, and that who you are is as much about where you live, as how you live. Respect for yourself and the outdoors comes by doing what you love.
