Single session half day, full day, or multi-day sessions are available.
Depending on your needs the studio can provide 4k Sony cameras, professional grade lenses, tripods, monitors, audio recording equipment and mics (boom, lavalier, field recorders), lights and light stands, speedy fiber-optic internet, and a staging/green room. You can book a half or full day of shooting and/or hire our production assistants to help with filming.
There are a wide range of projects that can be produced in our studio—from personal projects, to interviews and documentaries, and commercial multi-day training video shoots, we can help you realize your vision.
Yes! Our base package includes one support technician to help things run smoothly. Additionally, more crew can be added to fit your production needs.
Yes! We can support you throughout the process and cover any gaps you may have. This extends to post-production like editing as well.
We recommend 2-4 weeks in advance; however, shorter notices are possible depending on studio availability and your technical needs.
We require cancellation 48 hours in advance of the booking start time. Please reach out to us with any concerns as they arise.
Yes, a half day is the minimum bookable time (up to 5 hours). For solo creators we may be able to offer shorter reservations after we’ve connected about the project.
No need to worry! We have a little bit of wiggle room for reservation lengths, so no need to sweat the small stuff. If your project runs over significantly we’ll move the rate up to a full day or reschedule the remaining filming for another day.
Our studio is located in the heart of Traverse City’s historic Central Neighborhood District. Filled with tree-lined streets (some of which are cobblestone) and charming old homes, the neighborhood offers a quaint, comfortable backdrop to our studio.
There is parking available behind the studio in the alleyway and also short term 2-hour parking on the street in front of the studio. You’ll receive comprehensive information after booking the space.
We have a dedicated room for you to prepare for your shoot which includes a small dresser with a mirror, and personal essentials such as blotting paper, makeup wipes, and hair products. The room also contains small desks and high speed fiber optic internet so you can continue to work or access documents while shooting.

Yes, our studio is a good fit for regional and national bookings. Traverse City is a destination with a wide array of lodging options—from boutique hotels, to private home rentals, or established chain hotels, there are several options to choose from. Let us know the experience you’re looking for and we can make recommendations on lodging, food, and entertainment!
