Stone Hut Studios worked with Northwestern Michigan College’s (NMC) Experiential Learning Institute to showcase their exciting nEXt program. The nEXt program enriches college education by engaging students in authentic, real-world experiences that go far beyond traditional classroom instruction. This innovative transcript endorsement program offers opportunities like community-based research, internships, job shadowing, service learning, and study abroad experiences. Students develop essential skills including critical thinking, creative problem solving, empathy, resilience, and communication.
Stone Hut helped tell the story by capturing powerful testimonials from NMC students who shared their unique perspectives and the personal growth they experienced while taking part in the nEXt program. Creative drone video, timelapses, gimbal and handheld shots show the diverse learning environments NMC students have access to through the nEXt and Experiential Learning Institute programs. The production team worked closely with NMC to distill the essential aspects of the program. The result is a short promotional video that informs viewers about the program and creates excitement for enrolling.
