At Stone Hut Studios, our mission is to create impactful films that evoke emotions and drive meaningful action. To achieve this, we rely on a combination of top-notch equipment and behind-the-scenes tools that streamline our workflow and ensure high-quality production. Here’s a look at some of our favorite tools:
Equipment
Cameras
We love using Sony cameras for their reliability and because they’re reputed to be the most eco-friendly camera company. Our current favorite is the Sony FX3—perfect for on-the-go shooting and budget-friendly without compromising on quality.
Drones
For aerial shots and smooth camera movements, we rely on DJI drones and gimbals.
We currently use a Mavic 3 Cine and an Avata.
Gimbals
For smooth camera movements, we rely on DJI gimbals.
We currently use a DJI Ronin-SC2
Lights
Aputure lights are our go-to for their versatility and high output.
Support
Manfrotto tripods provide stability and ease of use.
Software
Post-Production
We use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects as part of the Adobe ecosystem for our post-production needs. These tools help us craft compelling narratives and stunning visuals.
Airtable
Airtable is the backbone of our project management, helping us organize and keep track of all our tasks and deliverables.
Honeybook
We’re transitioning to HoneyBook to manage client communications, sales, and operations seamlessly.
Vimeo
Vimeo plays a key role in our post-production workflow. We use it to securely share video cuts with clients, making it easy for them to review, comment, and provide feedback directly on the platform. This streamlines communication and ensures we deliver a final product that aligns with their vision.
WordPress + Elementor
Our website is built on WordPress, giving us the flexibility to create and update content easily.
By combining these tools, we’re able to deliver high-quality, emotionally impactful films while staying organized and efficient. What tools do you rely on for your creative projects?
